3RDAI
The Digital Crate Digger
An AI-powered intelligence engine for hip-hop — search 460,000+ songs by lyrics, theme, and cultural reference, then let AI compose, explain, and map the connections between them.
Not just full-text search — real understanding of the corpus.
3rdAI indexes hundreds of thousands of hip-hop lyrics across dozens of languages, then puts retrieval and reasoning on top of it. Search by exact phrase or by theme and mood, generate an explained playlist from a plain-language prompt, and see how songs, artists, and eras connect — every AI claim grounded in a quoted line, not a guess.
Verbatim search
Find exact phrases and lyrics across the full corpus, with boolean operators, exact-match toggling, and fuzzy auto-correct for near-miss queries.
AI-enhanced discovery
Search by theme and meaning, not just words — expanded through gem and rap-slang dictionaries so cultural references surface even when the exact term doesn't.
Playlist compose
Describe a vibe in plain language and get back a ten-song mixtape, each pick reasoned and grounded in a quoted line — not a black-box recommendation.
Analyze & map
Cross-search dashboards for language mix, geographic origin, collaboration networks, and how a theme's diversity shifts across eras.
